Peer-Review
All submitted manuscripts are initially reviewed by the editorial team. If the decision is positive, they undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two independent expert reviewers. Both parties remain anonymous throughout this process.

Authors will be informed in detail about the result via email. If revisions are recommended, they will receive detailed feedback. Should a further round of review be necessary, the reviewers will be contacted again.

Depending on the focus of the contribution, the following criteria are applied:

Proofs
Authors receive the print version as a PDF for review. Major corrections are no longer possible at this stage.

Publication & Complimentary Copies
After the issue is published, each author will receive a complimentary copy. All articles are also permanently available online as full text and are searchable.
