Transparency and Scientific Integrity

Editors ensure that research funding, authorship, and co-authorship are made transparent and that allegations of scientific misconduct are investigated.

Quality-Based Decisions

Publication decisions are based on the importance and quality of articles and are not influenced by the origin of articles or authors. Legal requirements regarding plagiarism, privacy, and copyright are observed.

Confidentiality in Peer Review

Submitted manuscripts remain confidential during the peer review process. The review process is conducted fairly and in a timely manner.

Plagiarism and Scientific Integrity

Plagiarism includes the use of others' texts, ideas, or data without proper attribution – as well as the resubmission of previously published work without disclosure. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that it is an original work. The editorial team reserves the right to act in accordance with COPE guidelines if misconduct is suspected.

Regular Publication

The editors ensure that content is published on a regular basis – including corrections, clarifications, and retractions.

Author Responsibility

Responsibility for the accuracy of content and empirical data lies solely with the authors. Authors are required to disclose all non-commercial and commercial interests that go beyond the scholarly interest of a publication.
