Welcome to the pages of the ‚Academic Journal of Religious Education. Theo-Web’. In our issues we publish scientific research and discussion articles on all kinds of religious education topics, on all places of learning related to religion and on the scientific theory of religious education.
The journal has been published twice a year in June and December since 2002. It is the organ of the GwR, the ‘Gesellschaft für wissenschaftliche Religionspädagogik’ (Society for Academic Religious Education), an association of Religious Education scholars in German-speaking countries.

The ‚Academic Journal of Religious Education. Theo-Web’ invites authors to submit an article for this journal. All submissions will be reviewed by an editor to ensure that they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those deemed suitable are first checked for plagiarism and AI use and then undergo a double-blind peer review process. The authors then receive feedback.
