This article follows on from the other articles in this special issue. It examines possible structures for empirical research on interreligious teaching and learning processes at the university level. It examines the objectives, levels, and pitfalls of empirical research on interreligious teaching and learning processes. Furthermore, it summarizes findings from previous research efforts on interreligious teaching and learning processes and provides a structured outlook on possible empirical research in the university sector, which also includes references to articles in this special issue.
