Between God, We, I and You: Inclusive religious educational relationships. A relational and power-sensitive reflection

This article discusses the in-between in inclusive relationships. Characteristics of the in-between are worked out philosophically, theologically and (religious) pedagogically. On the one hand, the in-between describes an all-encompassing I-Thou relationship between God, man and the world; on the other hand, it is part of the fabric of the human and the inaccessible. With recourse to Orthodox theology, the distinction between the in-between and the in-both becomes clear in their interdependence. Here it is important to reflect on religious expressions in-between in a power-sensitive way. In terms of religious didactics, relationship-oriented, denominational-cooperative and power-sensitive approaches are taken up. Finally, the elements of third space, heterogeneous context and power sensitivity are integrated into the model of elementarization.
